Downloading Music Files as a Podcast
April 30, 2008On Monday, I linked to the episode of our radio show that we aired on Saturday, Ostrobogulous: Techno. I was subsequently informed that since it wasn’t set up as a podcast, a few people were having an attack of apathy in downloading it.
How to download my radio show as a podcast:
- Open the music player of your choice that supports podcasts (or Zencasts or Zunecasts or whatevercasts).
- Add a new podcast. In iTunes, this is under Advanced >> Subscribe to podcast…
- Use the following URL: http://awalton.wordpress.com/feed
In order to use my domain teslasayshi.com, I have domain masking set up through a free DNS service. The URL http://teslasayshi.com/feed is a valid link but the RSS function won’t work properly in iTunes. Andrew Ferguson just informed me that the domain masking is using an iframe to display the site. Ew!
- Wait for it to download and enjoy the smooth stylings of Amanda and Longhair. Jawsome!
