Tesla T-shirts
June 23, 2009Apparently some people found my blog by searching “Tesla T-shirts” In the interest of fooling yet more innocent web-passers-by, I’m taking advantage of this to explore just how much I want a Tesla t-shirt. Honestly, no foolin. I didn’t even know they existed!
Quick note to be helpful: Can I direct you erstwhile Tesla fans to CafePress? Where they have a lot of Tesla-inspired merchandise?
Some of it is really quite the bee’s knees, if I may say so myself.
Which leads me to Kate Beaton who is the funniest webcomics artist ever. Her representation of everyone’s favorite eccentric genius is pretty apt:
But given my idea of Tesla as a ladykiller (above) and the current merchandise available (further above) I can’t help but be a little melancholy. What I really need is a shirt with the Tesla face surrounded by an airbrushed-style heart and lightning coming out of it. And something like “Electrical Engineers do it at high frequencies and glow when they’re properly insulated from ground and charged with high voltage.” on the back. Yeah, that’d be cool.
I’ve never done much with design.
